American Kennel Club and GF Sports & Entertainment announce additional AKC Meet the Breeds® tour dates on sale
NEW YORK, July 22, 2021 / PRNewswire / – The American Kennel Club (AKC) ®, the premier registry for purebred dogs and the governing body for dog sports in the United States, and GF Sports & Entertainment, a global sports and entertainment events and operations company, today announced that tickets are on sale for four additional cities on the AKC Meet the Breeds® National tour. AKC meets the races® is the largest in-person dog breed educational showcase in the United States. The two-day event is perfect for the whole family with tickets for children under $ 20 and a variety of ticket options, including early access and VIP experiences. Tickets are on sale now for Tampa, Florida (18-19 Sep); Columbus, Ohio (November 13-14); and New Orleans, LA (November 20-21) via the tour’s exclusive ticket provider SeatGeek®.
From Affenpinschers to Yorkshire Terriers and everything in between, the showcase offers pet lovers the unique opportunity to meet and play with over 100 different dog breeds at stalls that describe each breed’s country of origin, its historical purpose / function and attributes as a pet. , while learning about responsible pet ownership and what breeds may be right for them. The event also includes unique activities such as testing your own agility skills in our interactive space and participating in games and photo ops with the whole family. All events will take place with COVID-19 protocols in place.
