Odds, Predictions and Daily Fantasy
The Detroit Pistons will look to end their four-game losing streak at home tonight against the Indiana Pacers at Little Caesar’s Arena.
The Pistons (3-10) have just been beaten by the Sacramento Kings, while the Pacers (6-9) lost in their last game against the Knicks.
The Pacers present a bunch of tough clashes for the Pistons, especially indoors, where they introduce two talented big men to Domantas Sabonis and Myles Turner.
The Pistons are going to have to keep these two off the boards because the Pacers are one of the best rebounding teams in the NBA and the Pistons are the worst right now.
Here are the odds, predictions and some fantastic daily tips for the Detroit Pistons vs Indiana Pacers.
Detroit Pistons vs Indiana Pacers: odds, spread and over / under
According to WynnBET, the Detroit Pistons are six-point home underdogs against the Indiana Pacers.
The money lines are +200 for Detroit and -240 for Indiana, so it’s a game the books expect the Pistons to lose.
The over / under is set at 211, and it’s a complete stoppage for me until the Pistons show they’re capable of scoring consistently, which might not happen this season. Detroit is currently the NBA’s last in points per game and is one of only three teams averaging less than 100 points per game.
The Pistons’ offense is heading into the history books for futility, so it’s hard to recommend the ending, especially when their defense has played pretty well. It should be a break-in affair and I wouldn’t be shocked if the Pistons didn’t hit 100 points.
Detroit Pistons vs. Indiana Pacers: Daily Predictions and Fantasies
Like I said before, the Pacers present tough clashes for the Pistons all over the floor, and I don’t particularly like any of them for Detroit.
If Isaiah Stewart gets in trouble in this one, Turner and Sabonis are going to have a blast on the stage, so while I hate to say it, Sabonis is probably a good, fantastic play tonight.
Cade Cunningham will face tough defenders like Justin Holiday and Malcolm Brogdon, so it will be difficult for him to repeat his big outing against the Kings.
If you’re looking for a long, inexpensive shooter, rookie Luka Garza might end up having an extended run in this one, as the Pistons lack big. He racked up seven rebounds in just 17 minutes in the last game, so it would be a cheap game that could pay off if he has to play a lot tonight.
