Week 7 winners and losers
Week 7 is in the books. I’d rather not even talk about the New York Jets’ resounding loss to the New England Patriots here. Instead, I’ll take a look at the Week 7 fantasy football winners and losers.
Tua Tagovailoa, the Miami dolphins | 28.5 fancy stitches
The Miami Dolphins quarterback completed 32 of his 40 passing attempts in the loss to the Atlanta Falcons. In the process, he recorded 291 yards, four touchdowns and two interceptions. In addition, Tagovailoa ran the ball four times for 29 yards.
Despite Tua Tagovailoa’s best performance this week, rumors of a Deshaun Watson trade in Miami persist. The deadline for transactions in seven days will bring clarity.
Joe Burrow, Cincinnati Bengals | 27.6 fancy stitches
Joe Burrow put in a great performance in the Cincinnati Bengals’ victory over the Baltimore Ravens. He completed 23 of 38 attempted passes for 416 yards and three touchdowns.
One of those touchdown passes went to Ja’Marr Chase, Burrow’s favorite target, for an 82-yard touchdown. Tight end CJ Uzomah caught the other two touchdowns.
Matthew Stafford, Los Angeles Rams | 27.2 fantasy stitches
With a moderate 8.2 yard pass, Matthew Stafford wasn’t as explosive as expected in the win over his former team. Still, 28 of Stafford’s 41 passing attempts have found their mark. In the process, he recorded 334 yards and three touchdowns.
